Ragdoll  (1999)
Nomination Year: 2015
SYNOPSIS: Kwame is a member of a local rap group (KT Bounce) on the rise. The area's primary gangster (Big Pere) leans on Kwame (and the rest of the group) to sign a deal with him. He wants to manage them to the top of the charts. Kwame refuses, so Big Pere sends his brothers to put Kwame's grandmother in the hospital. Bad move. Kwame uses his grandmother's spell books (and the power of conjuring that lives in his blood) to make a deal with the Shadowman. The Shadowman puts killing magic into Kwame's grandmother's old rag doll, and the killing commences.

A lot better than it sounds. Which wouldn't be hard.

Survey Says: *Ding* He's Crazy!
Big Pere (looking like Steve Harvey) says all he wants is to help people have a good time. And good pizza, for some reason. And his empty hand has his brains in it.

"Gangsta Lafayette" Gets Needled
The (awful-looking) Rag Doll needles Little Mikey to death. He even pulls the blanket over his head just before, so he doesn't have to watch.

Acting Appropriately Stupid
Pay As You Go
Summon the Evilest entity around. Make a bargain. When it asks "What will you give me?" you answer: "Anything you want." Smart.
