Everybody's Talkin' 'bout the Death Trap / Funny, but It's Still Just VR to Me After all her adventures on the "surface world" (i.e. the entire film), she discovers it's just VR. Her father explains (or tries to) that she must take over his job managing all the minds on the VR net. Ugh.
