SYNOPSIS: The sleeping dogs are a group of convicts on their way to a penal colony on Saturn's moon Titan. A collision with a stray asteroid frees C. Thomas Howell, who goes about preparing to take over the ship. Does he succeed? Why was he on the ship in the first place? What are the mysterious contents of "the crate"?
