Voodoo Dawn  (1998)

(Foreign Titles)
Nomination Year: 2002
SYNOPSIS: Michael Madsen plays a crime boss who learned voodoo from a guy who shared his cell in prison. He used it to curse the protagonist's whole family to death (the dad double-crossed him once). The voodoo priestess Queenie, though, may have something to say about Madsen's hostile takeover of her turf. The whole thing was kinda like an updated version of Psychic Killer with a good dose of 3000 Miles to Graceland thrown in.

Rosanna Arquette has run away again, but is recaptured by Madsen's goons. Here, the boss admonishes her...incomprehensibly. In mid-sentence, he switches to talking about sea level and crying walls. Eesh.
