Godmonster of Indian Flats  (1973)
Nomination Year: 2007
SYNOPSIS: Mysterious outgassings from an old mine create a strangely-warped lamb. Meanwhile, an outsider is trying to buy up mining rights in a nearby planned community (i.e. tourist trap). He's framed for attempted murder twice (once for a human, and once for a dog), and then manages to escape -- which results in a posse of vigilante lawmen going on a rampage, and letting loose the eight-foot mutant sheep.

Allow me to damn this movie by faintly praising it thusly: Best. Mutant. Sheep. Movie. Ever.

The Godawfulmonster of Indian Flats
It's a gimpy eight-foot mutant sheep. Which minces as it walks. Words cannot do it justice. The schoolkids run away from it because they realize it's the spiritual forerunner of Crispin Glover....
