Eat My Dust!  (1976)
[+]
(Foreign Titles)
Nomination Year: 2009
SYNOPSIS: The thing about eating dust? It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Much like this Roger Corman film starring Ron Howard as a teen named "Hoover" who likes driving fast cars a little too much. Can even his father (the small-town Sheriff) save him from jail after he steals a race car in order to impress a local girl?

Roger Corman Presents a Roger Corman Film Not Starring Roger Corman...
The front cover has a goofy line drawing with Roger Corman's name across the top. On the back, you have a black-and-white still showing Ron Howard in some other movie (this movie is in color, and he's a bit older). Most of the back cover text is taken up with Roger Corman, though. There are a grand total of 25 words on the back cover describing this movie, and that includes "Watch Opie go berserk in Eat My Dust. Starring Ron Howard." Clearly Roger Corman is the true star of this film that he neither wrote nor directed nor appeared in....
Sorry, this cover has not yet been made available!
